France has suffered much terrorism the past couple years—notably by radical Muslims. The entire country is currently on alert after two incidents of terror recently happened.

While school shootings are rare in France, one actually occurred at Alexis de Tocqueville High School. A 17-year-old student injured three people (including the principal). The gunman’s name has yet to be released.

Three people were injured in a [sic] shooting on Thursday at a high school in Grasse town of southern France. The school principal was one of the victims.

The gunman, a 17-year-old student, stormed into the Tocqueville high school and started firing, according to sources.

The student who has not been publicly identified, was arrested in possession of multiple weapons after the attack, a police official said.”

The second attack happened at an IMF office in Paris by way of a letter bomb. There is reportedly one injury from the bomb, which has been said to have sounded “like a big fire cracker.”

These events have shocked the nation. The world is awaiting more information on the shooters and if there are any leads on the letter bomber. If either terrorists are reported to be Muslim, there will be more fuel added to the campaign of Marine Le Pen—the right-wing candidate who has supported President Trump’s controversial travel ban.
