Men can be victims of rape too. It’s a fact that is direly under-reported but it’s one of the world’s many sad realities. Just last week, a 23-year-old Ohio woman named Brittany Carter was charged with raping a 29-year-old taxi driver.
How it happened.
The taxi driver was doing business as usual when he went to a TownePlace Suites hotel in Findlay at 4:25 am on January 8th to pick up three people: 2 men and a woman. One of the men then held the taxi driver at knifepoint and proceeded to rob him of $32.
And while, or after robbing the taxi driver, Carter then forced the man to indulge in sex acts with her.
In an interview with the News-Messenger Findlay Detective Lt. Robert Ring said: “We don’t know why she did it. Maybe it was a distraction because they took money from him.”
Carter has been charged with two first-degree felony charges and is currently being held in the Hancock County jail.
Carter’s accomplice Cory Jackson has been charged with aggravated robbery while the third accomplice has yet to be identified.
