Police Deaths Are Rising At Shocking Rates

So far this year, things are looking grim for our “men in blue.” Police deaths have seen a staggering increase so far in 2017, and are up by a devastating 39 percent. Traffic-related deaths have accounted for 22 officer fatalities, making them the number one cause of untimely death for police. Shootings have claimed 16 blue lives so far this year as well, making it the second highest cause.

One cannot help but wonder if the mainstream media has played a part in this seismic toll on police forces across the United States. After all, they have given violence an unabridged platform in recent months. From glorifying groups like black lives matter, to pushing the narrative that police are racist, the rise in deaths can without a doubt be attributed to the far-left media in the United States.

Unfortunately, the reality of race-baiters and opportunists who claim that police kill minorities for absolutely no reason exists.

According to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, at this time in 2016, only 36 officers had been killed. For 2017, that number has gone up to 50–and the year is far from over.

President Trump put a spotlight on this grave issue during a recent address, and stated, “The attacks on our police must end, and they must end right now.”

“We must also end the reckless words of incitement that give rise to danger and give rise to violence,” the President went on to say.

The violence against police is most likely going to only continue to grow until the mainstream media decides to begin reporting on real news, and not fake divisive propaganda.
