It’s not a secret that President Donald Trump can do no right in the eyes of the liberal mainstream media. But just how low will they go? Recently, President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump attended the wreath-laying ceremony at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum. The memorial is considered to be one of the most revered and sacred sites in Israel, and it’s a tradition for world leaders to sign the guest book when they visit.
Unsurprisingly, the media has taken issue with Trump’s short but sweet message: “It is a great honor to be here with all of my friends. So amazing + will Never Forget!”
Some have even gone so far to compare Trump’s inscription to those written Obama in years past–in a misguided attempt to make it seem as though our current president is less compassionate and concerned about the plight of Israel than the former.
However, as we all know, the number of words you use to say something has very little to do with the sincerity and intent of those words.
Obama may have filled the page with words, but there was clearly very little meaning behind them. Some have even said that “in the Middle East he’ll be remembered as one of the most ineffective presidents.”
President Trump may not be a man of many words, but it is better to mean what you say, and say little than to say a lot and mean nothing. “You can keep your doctor,” is plenty enough evidence of that.
