Survey: Majority Of British Muslims Wouldn’t Say Anything If They Knew About A Terror Plot

It seems Britain’s counter-terrorism program may not be preventing very much after all. Last year, according to an ICM poll based on data collected from over 1,000 Muslim citizens who were at least 18 years old, there was some pretty grim information. Approximately two-thirds of Britain-based Muslims said they would not be willing to disclose any details of a terror plot if they knew about it prior to happening.

This shocking find just goes to show how far people will go to protect their “own,” even if it means putting other people’s lives at risk. The sad truth is these statistics show Muslim communities in Britain (and likely elsewhere) are not keen on assimilating to Western culture—even when it comes to dealing with things like crime.

Nearly a quarter of all Muslim respondents also added they wanted Shari’a Law to become the prevailing system in Britain. And how many more would simply be accepting of Shari’a law, should it come to pass?

More than 50 percent of the nation’s surveyed Muslims said they believed homosexuality was a crime—another 51 percent said they were totally okay with men taking multiple wives.

The ICM poll has been so eye-opening even “Islamophobia” touter and former-Chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission Trevor Phillips is seeing the light. Sources say Phillips “now understands Muslims, unlike previous waves of immigrants, are totally unwilling to assimilate and have aspirations instead to fundamentally transform Britain.” Phillips himself has described Britain’s Muslim population as a “nation within the nation.” If only facts were always so effective.
