When it comes to teachers it’s not the quantity that makes the real difference in society. It’s the quality. In my opinion, it’s always better to have one good teacher than ten crappy ones. Who agrees?
Kinsie Johns who teaches third-grade at Anette Winn Elementary School is one of those good teachers. She actually cares about her students and when one of them is being treated unfairly you can count on her to step in.
That’s why, when she discovered that a girl in her class was being teased because of her hairstyle, Mrs. John did something that caught everyone by surprise.
The little girl came to school with her in a style known as the “Space Bun”. And on the very day after many of the other students teased her for it, calling her “space girl”.
Mrs. Johns, who was very displeased by what she saw decided to come up with a plan to make the little girl feel better about her hairstyle. The next day, Mrs, John did her hair in a “Space Bun” to the surprise of not only the entire class but the girl being teased.
“She was beaming when she saw me and the students noticed that our hair looked the same.”
Mrs. Johns posted the picture on Facebook.
But it didn’t end there. The following day, all the girls in the class did their hair in a “Space Bun” and showed massive support for their classmate.
The team here at Conservative Country will always show support to good teachers. Teachers are pivotal to our future but again I must stress that it’s not about quantity, it’s about quality. America needs a high concentration of quality teachers in the education system and spending millions and millions of dollars to hire a bunch of low quality, run-of-the-mill teachers is a complete waste of taxpayers’ dollar.
