When Pepsi tried to enter the arena of life-changing ad campaigns with their Kendall Jenner effort, it completely backfired—a Pepsi-PR disaster.
Heineken then told Pepsi “hold my beer” and jumped into the same arena with their #OpenYourWorld campaign. The beer behemoth, however, did a much better job at celebrating life and world views. Their campaign was widely praised and given quite a lot of “thumb ups” on YouTube.
