In a post-Obama America, elementary-school students are taught math and English through common core, a “cookie cutter” method proven to dumb down a child’s education. To many parents surprise, those in Washington dictating how students learn across the country isn’t even the worst of their troubles. The broken-education system can be judged on many levels, especially in Oklahoma City—where many students can’t even read a clock.
The contemporary classroom requires young students learn about many things including gender—apparently, you can choose your own. The insanity continues, as sex education has also been expanded to accept deviant, sexual behaviors as normal. Liberal educators are imparting these disgusting practices onto US children across the nation.
While the classroom has become highly politicized, what is the students’ indoctrination “time” replacing? Recall math, English, science, history, art—the crucial subjects innocent minds should be absorbing if ultra-leftists weren’t brainwashing them with non-academic ideologies kids are free to explore when they’re closer to adulthood.
Yes, the educational system’s getting so sub-par, apparently, many students can’t even read a clock! This is a major issue may just be the “tip of the iceberg.” It isn’t just a handful of children either; 80 percent of students are unable to read a clock according to a recent study in Oklahoma City.
“A new study shows that only 1-in-10 Oklahoma City kids ages 6-12 own a watch. And only 1-in-5 know how to read it.
‘Yeah, I was super surprised,’ said Caitlin Carnes, who works for the Boys & Girls Club at Santa Fe South Elementary. ‘When I was growing up, that was something that we learned. I don’t know if that makes me old or not.’
Instead Friday, Carnes worked to teach kids in the after-school program how to read analog clocks—something even the kids will admit they struggle with.”
Where has the American education system gone? What kind of future can we expect when students can’t even read clocks? Then again, robots might take over most of these children‘s jobs before they are old enough to cause damage.
