Children’s Minds Are Being Damaged By The American, Education System

The academic-achievement levels for the US-education system is worse than many people realize. It’s hard to bill ourselves as the brightest when we are behind in science, math and reading when compared to an incredible amount of countries. With countless money pouring into the system, we still saw a recent dip in math proficiency. Is it because schools don’t care about math as much as indoctrinating students with political philosophies?

The politicized-education system has taken a hold of countless children’s minds, and because of it, the future outlook for conservative voting appears to be grim. It’s not a coincidence that homeschooling numbers have dramatically risen. Who knows, these homeschoolers may be some of the last conservatives the country sees.

Rhetoric from the far-left has succeeded in transforming the way individuals view sensitive topics and vote. Millennials are now said to be overwhelmingly voting Democrat. This could be seen during the recent, Democratic primaries where Bernie Sanders quickly became the average millennial-voters voice. It’s very concerning that a socialist is the voice of the next generation.

“By the November 2020 election, approximately 10 million Americans will have died; mostly older, they’re a demographic [who] generally votes for conservatives. They will be perhaps more than replaced, though, by approximately 16 million young people who will turn 18 between now and then. Yet these new voters won’t fill their elders’ shoes: they’ll disproportionately cast ballots for hardcore statists, perhaps being the most ‘liberal’ group of 18-year-olds in American history.

While much of their malformation is due to popular culture and poor parenting, another factor is something Abraham Lincoln addressed when saying, “The philosophy of the classroom today will be the philosophy of government tomorrow.”

Will the future of US education take a more conservative turn under President Donald Trump? Maybe his recent school bathroom bill roll back will mark the beginning of a return to common sense.
