Many people have suspected the alleged Trump-Russia scandal was a farce—new footage from Project Veritas has proven it: CNN Producer John Bonifield was caught on camera saying, ” I haven’t seen any good evidence to show the president committed a crime,” and that there’s “no proof.”
In fact, while discussing the so-called case, Bonifield even went so far as to say, “Could be bullshit. I mean, it’s mostly bullshit right now.”
The video footage, which James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released on Tuesday, further highlights what many people have believed all along: the entire Trump-Russia investigation was nothing more than a witch hunt—a poorly disguised one at that.
In the video, Bonifield explained if there was real proof of wrongdoing, it would have been leaked by now. According to him, “If they were finding something, we would know about it. The way these leaks happen, they would leak it. They’d leak. If it was something really good, it would leak…”
The real kicker in this video (taken by one of O’Keefe’s investigators) is the fact Bonifield even admits he feels President Trump is right to think he is indeed being targeted unfairly and without any real cause. As the CNN producer stated, “And so I think the president is probably right to say, like, ‘look, you are witch hunting me. You have no smoking gun. You have no, real proof.’”
Bonifield also noted that given all the other information spills we’ve seen recently, it would be highly unusual for something of that nature to not be leaked. Bonifield said he simply did not believe any real proof regarding the Trump case would not have been leaked.
And truly, if there was hard evidence germane to the case, you’d expect it to have been national news by now. As Bonifield says, it seems even though there’s no proof, the investigators are not ready to stop digging.
This video does far more than just expose the fact there is no evidence to support the Trump-Russia collusion case, however. Bonifield can also be seen admitting the media treats President Trump far differently than Obama, adding that liberal viewers want to see Trump being attacked.
Bonifield also explained how his own network, CNN, actively promotes this phony case against Trump in lieu of perfectly good, real-news stories. The reason? Because of how good the rating are. Apparently, fake news is just fine as long as CNN and their ilk are the ones promoting it.
So in addition to revealing there is no proof to back up the Trump investigation, CNN Producer Bonifield also acknowledged there is a strong, media bias against Trump, which exists solely to appease left-leaning viewers and increase the network’s ratings.
