Trump supporters recently boycotted the Oscars due to the enormous pile of leftist rhetoric Hollywood liberals were spewing out. The outcome of the boycott resulted in the Oscars receiving terrible ratings—the lowest in nine years to be exact.

Hollywood continues to live in a bubble, attacking not just the president but also his supporters—who happen to be a large, customer base for movies. It is well known if you are “outed” as a conservative in Hollywood, your career could be in jeopardy. Now, in what can only be considered hilarious irony, celebrities are getting a taste of their own medicine. If you are an outspoken liberal, The People won’t support your awards show.

Eventually, this may extend to these hateful, liberals careers.

“Preliminary national ratings, adjusted for time zones across the country, revealed 32.9 million viewers tuned in Sunday night to the nearly four-hour ceremony on ABC hosted for the first time by the network’s late-night host, Jimmy Kimmel. That’s just a shade above the record-low turnout of 32 million logged in 2008 in the middle of a writers’ strike that crippled Hollywood.”

Not only were the Oscars’ ratings low, but they were destroyed by President Trump’s recent address to congress. Trump’s known as a big draw for ratings and had 43-million viewers just from cable and broadcast-news networks for his address.

It could be argued there were viewers watching who aren’t Trump supporters—this is true—but  after the broadcast, seven out of 10 Americans felt their optimism had been boosted. Not only did President Trump annihilate Oscars  ratings, but people are now overwhelmingly excited about him.

“As these are Nielsen numbers, this only includes TV viewing and not viewers who watched on streaming services.”

Hollywood liberals may need to rethink their stances on issues if they are to remain relevant during Trump’s presidency. With new “converts” to Trump daily, for all we know, there may be a conservative movement brewing inside Tinsel Town.
