Bill Nye rose to fame during the 1990s as the star of the popular children’s TV show, “Bill Nye the Science Guy.” But as they say, some things are better left in the past–and it seems that Bill Nye is one of them. His new Netflix show, “Bill Nye Saves the World,” leaves much to be desired, and if you’re not on the left of the political spectrum, it may also leave a bad taste in your mouth.
Despite the name of the show, Bill Nye is not saving the world; he’s just espousing left-wing political ideals, one show at a time. Every episode seems to be dedicated to one of the liberal media’s latest issues of choice. But the name “Bill Nye” lends a certain level of pseudo-credibility to the propaganda-ridden program. For instance, a recent episode debuted the song “My Sex Junk,” which was supposed to enlighten audiences about the “naturalness” of transgenderism.
Back in 90s, when Bill Nye was still at least able to pass himself off as a man of science, he didn’t seem to share the sentiment that being transgender was natural. Sources say that during an episode, Nye explained, “chromosomes…control whether we become a boy or a girl.”
In true Orwellian fashion, however, Netflix has edited out that portion of the archived show footage they are now streaming. How convenient, right?
Nye’s new show takes “political correctness” to new heights by literally turning the concept into a TV show–and it shows just to what an absurd degree this “political mantra” has invaded our culture.
