I just want to take this moment to congratulate Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło for being one of the wisest leaders of the free world. With German Chancellor, Angela Merkel disgracing the name of European leadership with her free acceptance of refugees, Szydło is without a doubt a breath of fresh air.

Prime Minister Szydło has made it clear that Poland will not be accepting refugees. During a press conference in Warsaw, she said that “there was no agreement” among EU member states that made accepting migrants a mandatory action.

Szydłosaid very clearly that “Poland cannot accept refugees.”

And even though Poland and Hungary are under pressure by the EU Migration Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos they will not cave.

“I call on Poland and Hungary who have not relocated a single person … to start doing so right now,” Avramopoulos said to reporters. “If no action is taken by them before the next [Commission] report in June, the Commission will not hesitate to make use of its powers under the treaties and to open infringement procedures,” he added.

EU leaders had initially planned to relocate 100,000 of the 2 million+ refugees who entered Europe since 2015 but have only managed to relocate 14,000 refugees from “refugee camps in countries along the Mediterranean coast.”

Poland was assigned 6,200 refugees but Poland has refused to take in a single one!

The European Commission reports that the only European nations that have not taken in any refugees are Austria, Hungary, and Poland.
