The Politicon 2017 event is about to get heated: Ben Shapiro and Cenk Uygur are going to steal the show with what is anticipated to be one of the fiercest debates of the year. Whenever conservatives and liberals go head-to-head, it’s sure to be a good time. Tensions between the two ends of the political spectrum have been increasing at a rapid pace, and this debate will certainly serve to highlight that fact.
Undoubtedly, fans of Shapiro and Uygur are already marking their calendars for the debate, which will transpire late July.
Conservative Ben Shapiro is a public speaker and nationally syndicated columnist. Shapiro is famous for his writing, as well as his debate skills. He’s known for appearing at often-virulent college campuses and consistently shutting down left-wing rhetoric on a variety of topics.
Cenk Uygur, on the other hand, is known for his favor among liberals, as well for being the brains behind popular, YouTube-show The Young Turks.
While the Shapiro-Uygur debate does not currently appear on the Politicon website, Uygur recently announced he’ll be taking on Shapiro at some point during the event weekend. Reportedly, Ana Kasparian will be debating Ann Coulter, which will surely be a memorable exchange as well. Politicon will be taking place July 29th & 30th—a power-play weekend.
Politicon describes itself as the “unconventional political convention” and features more than just political debates. Political-themed films, comedy, discussion panels and more will be taking place over the course of the weekend, but it seems rather likely the highly anticipated, Shapiro-Uygur debate will merit center stage. Watching a Ben Shapiro debate is always something to be enjoyed—that’s for sure.
