Rand Paul and President Trump took time out of their busy schedules to meet up for a friendly game of golf on Sunday. What did they discuss? Well, we don’t know but I’m pretty sure it was a lot more than just about golf swings.
Paul stated that they didn’t talk about Obama’s reported eavesdropping but he seemed quite fired up about it after the golf meet. It’s a matter that has been talked about a lot in the news and one name in particular that has been mentioned recently is former National Security Advisor Susan Rice.
When she asked for the names of the officials pivotal in Donald Trump’s transition process during intel gathering it got a lot of people upset. Rand Paul, in particular, didn’t take the news lying down and is now asking for Susan Rice to testify under oath.

“If it is allowed, we shouldn’t be allowing it, but I don’t think should just discount how big a deal it is that Susan Rice was looking at these,” Rand Paul said. “And she needs to be asked, ‘Did President Obama ask her to do this? Was this a directive from President Obama? I think she should testify under oath on this.”
The power to unmask people is too prevalent.
Paul went on to say:
“The law says you can’t reverse target people, but how would you know that once you get inside the brain and the people that are unmasking people. So, what if I decided to unmask and I’m there and I only unmask the conversations of my Democrat opponents — shouldn’t there be more restrictions for unmasking people in the political process?”
“Basically there’s no Fourth Amendment when you use these kinds of things, you go with a lower standard because we’ve got to protect the country and we don’t care about spying on foreigners.”
The GOP Kentucky Sen. believes that issue isn’t being taken seriously and that millions of Americans are victims of the country’s “foreign targeting” as the DailyCaller puts it.
