Due to the Palestinian Authority’s continued support of terrorism towards the US and Israel, the White House is now preparing to take drastic measures towards them.
A senior White House official told Free Beacon that Congress is preparing to cut all aid money to the Palestinians and if it passes President Trump would sign it.
The matter was brought up and finalized on Tuesday when leading lawmakers in the House and Senate gathered on Capitol Hill. They discussed legislation that that would cut all U.S. funding to the Palestinian government, which has been criticized for providing financial incentives to terrorists who kill American and Israeli civilians.
“The Palestinian Authority’s use of its resources to provide material support for terrorism—indiscriminately targeted at American and Israeli civilians—is a grotesque example of how well-intentioned U.S. generosity can be used against us,” a senior White House official told the Free Beacon.
“This legislation highlights practical steps the PA can take to demonstrate a real commitment to ending the vicious cycle of hatred and violence that has prevented the Palestinian people from the prosperity and security they could otherwise be enjoying,” the official said.
The new legislation is all in an attempt to stop the Palestinian government from paying terrorists.
In the short video below we see Netanyahu giving a UN speech about why defunding the Palestinians is the right thing to do:
This is definitely in a step in the right direction. It may a relatively small step in the grand fight against terrorism but as Lao Tzu said “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”
