Events in Venezuela are playing out like every other socialist nation in history. The country has devastating news coming out of it weekly—e.g., citizens suffering through disastrous times. Recently, some of these people went as far eating farm animals to survive. It may seem extreme, but drastic measures are needed to avoid death.
Venezuela’s government seemingly refuses to take responsibility for the horrible situations happening in their South American nation. There were reports of bakers being jailed due to bread shortages. Venezuelan’s were even running out of gas—even though they have the biggest, oil reserves on earth. There seems to be no end to the insanity.
Now, five years after halted guns sales, and one year after gun-confiscation campaigns began, pro-government forces are weaponizing themselves. The action is happening due to recent protests—this simultaneously proves the US’s Second Amendment right. You need the right to bear arms to keep your government “in check.”
As reported, “The socialist leader of Venezuela announced in a speech to regime loyalists his plan to arm hundreds of thousands of supporters after a years-long campaign to confiscate civilian-owned guns.
‘A gun for every militiaman!’ Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said to uniformed, militia members outside the presidential palace. The Bolivarian militias, created by Maduro’s predecessor Hugo Chavez, already number in the hundreds of thousands and are being used to supplement the regime’s armed forces. Maduro is boosting the number of armed supporters in hopes of keeping control over the country from what he labels ‘imperialist aggression.’”
Are we about to see Venezuela begin mass killings on their own people?
