It seems Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) has dropped the ball in terms of raising his kids—at least the youngest son. Twenty-four-year-old Linwood Kaine was busted as a suspect at a “March 4 Trump” rally in St. Paul, MN. He was detained upon being part of the second-degree riot that ensued at the Minnesota State Capitol. (What a way to spend a March-4th Saturday.)
Young Kaine and others crashed the pro-Trump rally via repetitive chatter, whistling and air horns—even a smoke bomb was in the mix! (…more “free speech“?)
After a few days in lockup, Kaine (“Woody” to his friends) made bail and left Ramsey County jail the morning of March 7th. He was one of five facing rioting offenses—a sixth was slapped with disorderly conduct.
While they did some time, it seems the five were not officially charged for any crimes. However, St. Paul City Attorney Samuel Clark informed the local press it’s possible the five are looking at misdemeanors. (And why not have a misdemeanor right now, as rioting’s currently and seemingly the cool thing to do.)
Senator Kaine, who stepped up for his son’s behavior, was widely known as Hillary Clinton’s possible VP during the 2016, presidential election. “We love that our three children have their own views and concerns about current, political issues,” Kaine said in support of his son. “They fully understand the responsibility to express those concerns peacefully.”
Well, at least their oldest kid’s a currently overseas US Marine, and the daughter’s in college.
