Shortly after SpaceX Chief Executive Elon Musk communicated his company will be facilitating a 2018 flyby of the moon for two, private clients, the president made this declaration.
The SpaceX CEO explained they encountered two people who’ve thrown a “significant deposit” at the company, as they’re paying for the mission in full.
In early February, NASA explained they’d look at their options in terms of assembling a crew for their 2018 Space Launch System rocket and Orion craft, which was originally to do one revolution around the moon.
