There are astonishingly high numbers of refugees in the US who may be tied to terrorism. United States officials have claimed hundreds of Muslim refugees are being investigated by the FBI, and the shocking amount is going viral. It may only be a matter of time before the US is faced with a crisis ending with violent Islamists attacking our citizens.
It appears that Trump was right—we cannot allow unvetted people to come into our country when there are strong indications they are just coming to the United States to take part in terrorist activities. Thankfully, the president just signed a new, executive order protecting Americans from future terrorists exploiting our immigration system. Beginning March 16th, the US will ban new visas from six terror-filled nations in the Middle East.
Although the ban will help stop terrorists flying into the United States, they will still be able to enter the country through our unprotected, southern border. It has been reported many border crossers are from the Middle East.
With Trump already soliciting border-wall bids on a government website, it may likely be soon when we start to see construction on the southern-border wall begin.
“Trump’s order, which was announced late Monday morning, temporarily bans travel to those without valid visas from Sudan, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.
Nearly a third of the 1,000 FBI domestic-terrorism cases – 300 – involve those admitted to the US as refugees, a Department of Homeland Security official said Monday. That number was confirmed later in the day by Attorney General Jeff Sessions during a news conference. Officials said some of those 300 came to ‘infiltrate’ the US, while others were radicalized once they were in the country.”
Trump appears to be keeping his campaign promise to put Americans first—to the disappointment of many liberals. Trump voters aren’t shocked that the FBI is investigating many refugees for terrorism. The president received large amounts of support from citizens concerned with our broken, immigration policies and porous border.
