Kathy Griffin’s career is now a severed head dangling from the fingertips of her own idiocy. Oh, how the tables have turned.
Just a couple weeks ago, Kathy Griffin was a high-flying D-list celebrity with jobs coming in fast and heavy. Now, however, her roster is empty.
CNN dumped her, Griffin’s forthcoming, comedy gigs have been canceled and her only sponsor, “Squatty Potty,” has flushed her down the toilet.
It’s a sad time for Kathy Griffin, but I’m not feeling sorry for her. She inflicted this damage onto herself.
One of Griffin’s first shows to be canceled was her performance at Staten Island’s St. George Theatre November 2nd. “Ms. Griffin’s recent actions have severely inhibited our ability to fulfill our mission as a non-profit theatre serving the Staten Island community,” the theater said.
Upon that bad news, numerous cancellations followed. The only gig Griffin was able to hold onto was at Bergen Performing Arts Center in New Jersey, but that soon fell from her grasp as well.
I applaud your decision.. I will now make an effort to come spend money at your venue @bergenpac

Kathy Griffin has been kicked to the curb, and I hope she has a good time selling hot dogs in the mall or being a party clown.
But I think we can learn a valuable lesson from this now-failed celebrity—being an idiot never pays off.
